Real Estate Trends 2025: Quebecers and Their Buying and Selling Plans
Planiprêt | 12 May 2025
We would like to share with you the latest trends in the Quebec real estate market for 2025. According to a recent survey, young adults aged 18 to 34 dominate buying intentions despite current economic challenges. Indeed, nearly half of this age group plans to acquire a property within the next five years. Additionally, the drop in interest rates has encouraged 75% of potential buyers to consider purchasing a home.
The study also highlights the growing importance of environmental considerations in housing choices, although Quebecers often lack tools to assess these impacts. Selling intentions remain stable, and renting is perceived differently across generations.
To learn more about these trends and discover the details of the survey, we invite you to read the full article on the Centris website: What are the buying and selling intentions of Quebecers in 2025.
